Support for health resilience in the Eastern Partnership - Component 2 & 3
Project Description
The programme will strengthen the capacity of countries in the Eastern Partnership to handle health emergencies and core health challenges. It will pursue this along two specific objectives focusing on 1) health workforce capacities and resilience; and 2) strengthened mental health systems. Specifically, the programme will strengthen policies to attract and retain health workers, enhance nursing and medical education systems, and improve national health workforce governance and planning. It will also advance evidence-based mental health policies, reform legislative frameworks, and equip health and care workers with the skills needed to expand access to high-quality mental health services.
