Horizon Europe Information Event in Armenia

We are pleased to invite you to the EU Horizon Europe Information Event, taking place on October 22, 2025, in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Horizon Europe Information Event in Armenia is organised by the Scientific and Innovation Partnership Assistance Center (SIPAC) – the Horizon Europe Office in Armenia in close cooperation with the European Commission, the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA).
This high-level event will highlight Armenia’s growing engagement in the European Research Area and its active participation in the Horizon Europe programme – the European Union’s flagship initiative for research and innovation.
The event will provide valuable insights into current collaboration, present success stories, and opportunities for Armenian researchers and innovators to participate in cutting-edge European R&I projects, with a separate dedicated session on Pillar III: Innovative Europe.

About Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe (2021–2027) is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation. With a budget of over €95 billion, it tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. The programme facilitates cross-border cooperation and supports researchers and innovators at every stage of their careers.
In 2022, Armenia became a fully associated member of the Horizon Europe programme, granting Armenian institutions full access to EU funding and the opportunity to lead or partner in European research and innovation projects. This association marked a very positive continuation in the EU-Armenia Research and Innovation cooperation. Since the start of Horizon Europe, Armenian organisations have secured approximately €8 million in funding (as of June 2025), with growing success in various thematic clusters.
