Empowering Armenia’s Youth: Annual Youth Forum 2024 сoncludes with great success
The Annual Youth Forum 2024 in Armenia took place on 28-29 September, bringing together 150 young people, youth workers, and representatives from youth CSOs across the 10 regions of Armenia and Yerevan.
The forum provided a dynamic platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and action, addressing the issues facing today’s youth. As part of the event young people were welcomed by the representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, EU Delegation to Armenia and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Throughout the Forum the participants were engaged in active discussions about youth priorities, including employment, civic engagement, leadership opportunities and others. The atmosphere was one of shared purpose and determination, as participants worked closely with government agencies, civil society, and international organizations to identify solutions and propose recommendations.
One of the key outcomes of the forum was the development of a comprehensive package of proposals aimed at strengthening Armenia’s youth policy. These proposals, shaped by the collective insights and experiences of the participants, will be submitted to relevant institutions, with great anticipation of further action and implementation.
The forum was widely praised by attendees, with many expressing their satisfaction at the high level of engagement, the quality of discussions, and the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping policies that impact Armenia’s youth. The event successfully fostered new partnerships, and the positive momentum generated by the forum is expected to fuel future initiatives focused on youth development.
The Annual Youth Forum 2024 has contributed to lasting change, demonstrating the power of collective action and setting the stage for continued collaboration and youth-led impact in Armenia.
