In the lead-up to World Environment Day 2026, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) initiative in Armenia is organising a clean-up activity around the Azat Reservoir to raise awareness about the need for environmental action, emphasizing that it is sustained through daily community efforts.

The Azat Reservoir is used for irrigating the Ararat Valley, where agriculture is highly developed. By choosing this area as the main location for the activity, we will highlight the critical importance of safeguarding water resources for sustainable agriculture and local communities.

All participants will be provided with gloves and water. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes and shoes! Let’s protect nature together and be part of a bigger, greener movement.
