EU launches enhanced mental health support services for displaced Karabakh Armenians

On 17 April, EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos joined partners to launch enhanced mental health and psychosocial support services for displaced Karabakh Armenians.
The ‘Integrated community-based mental health and psychological support for displaced population from Karabakh to Armenia’ aims to ensure that care reaches people where it is needed most.
“With over €78 million mobilised since 2023, the European Union continues to stand in solidarity — strengthening systems that support recovery and resilience,” the EU Delegation posted on Facebook.
The EU Civil Protection Mechanism, the World Health Organisation Country Office in Armenia, UN Armenia, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia will implement the project.
