Culture Moves Europe: new call for residency hosts 2026-2027 open | Apply by January 18

The EU-funded ‘Creative Europe’ programme has launched a call to provide grants to organisations and individual artists that wish to host international artists and cultural professionals for a residency project.
The call provides financial support to organisations and individual artists registered as legal entities in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine that want to host up to five international artists and cultural professionals for a residency project.
Hosts are expected to provide an appropriate environment, accommodation, workspace and artistic guidance through at least one mentor.
Residency projects should pursue at least two of five objectives: explore, create, learn, connect, and transform.
The call is open to projects in the fields of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and the visual arts.
Whether you are a non-profit organisation, cultural centre, museum, foundation, company, NGO or self-employed artist, you can apply to become a Culture Moves Europe residency host.
The Hosting allowance is €50 per day, per resident.
The resident receives €30 per day and a travel allowance from €400 to €800 depending on distance, which is calculated automatically in the application form.
There are also top-ups (if applicable) for green mobility (€400), family top-up (€200 per child under 18 years old), and a visa top-up (of €120).
The call is open until 18 January 2027.
To fill in the online application form, applicants must first create an account on the Goethe-Application Portal.
