Young European Ambassadors and Ozzy bring biomimicry and fun to COP17 Green Zone

Energy, innovation, and hands-on learning came together today at the EU Booth in the COP17 Green Zone, where the Young European Ambassadors joined forces with Ozzy the Energy Hamster to engage visitors of all ages in climate action.
Throughout the day, families and young climate enthusiasts gathered at the interactive booth to discover renewable energy in action. Hands-on activities allowed children and youth to design and construct their own mini wind turbines, offering a fun, practical look at how clean energy works.
A central highlight of the event was the biomimicry workshop, where participants drew inspiration from nature’s design. By studying plants, animals, and natural ecosystems, attendees brainstormed creative solutions to pressing environmental challenges – demonstrating how looking to nature can spark original ideas for sustainability.
“It was inspiring to see so many young minds bringing both creativity and curiosity to the booth today,” noted the YEAs’ team.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the EU Booth to learn, build, and share a memorable green weekend in Yerevan!
