Why Syunik matters: the EU’s commitment in action – watch the highlights
In June 2025, the EU Ambassador Vassilis Maragos and EU Member state ambassadors travelled to Syunik to meet local partners, explore EU-funded innovative projects, and see first-hand how #TeamEurope cooperation is creating opportunities and improving lives. Representatives from both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Assembly participated in the visit.
The visit was part of the Resilient Syunik Team Europe initiative, which brings together the EU, its Member States and likeminded partners to support the region’s sustainable socio-economic development.
