Support for Armenia: EU4Gender Equality Reform Helpdesk (August 2024 – February 2026)

This flyer highlights the impact of the EU4Gender Equality Reform Helpdesk project (Phase II) in Armenia. Funded by the European Union and implemented by NIRAS, the project actively supported local stakeholders in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment between August 2024 and February 2026.
Advocating for gender-inclusive policies comes with unique challenges, particularly in modern media landscapes. To address these hurdles, the project introduces a comprehensive, ten-part interconnected toolkit built on evidence from the EEAS OSINT Guidelines and extensive research into identity-based disinformation. This resource empowers organizations to effectively identify, document, and counter sophisticated disinformation threats while simultaneously building the long-term resilience necessary to sustain their vital advocacy work.
The Reform Helpdesk drives systemic change by strengthening the capacity of both government bodies and civil society to integrate gender perspectives into public policies and legislative reforms. It achieves this by providing expert advice, specialized training, and critical knowledge products that facilitate smooth gender mainstreaming throughout the planning and implementation stages of governance. Furthermore, the initiative fosters deeper collaboration among governments, civil society, and EU institutions, ultimately equipping women’s rights organizations with the tools and data needed to engage in impactful, evidence-based dialogue with decision-makers.
