Sustainable, Impactful, and Inclusive Civil Society (SIICS)
Project Description
The project introduces a composite intervention to strengthen the Armenian civil society in times of dramatic changes. It aims to help civil society actors become trusted, impactful, and resilient stakeholders in Armenia. To this end, the project will provide direct financial assistance to 35 grassroots, think-tanks, and well-established non-governmental organizations, coupled with measures to develop their organizational capabilities, outreach skills, and strategic plans. In addition, the targeted organizations will receive support to increase their financial sustainability and diversify funding sources. Finally, the project will empower civil society actors to participate in policy-making processes more effectively through monitoring and advocacy measures in areas of human rights, democracy development, and good governance.
The consortium of organizations will bring together their expertise to carry out 17 activities, which are designed to achieve the results presented above.
