By fostering linkages between the IT sector and farming, we will create a movement towards modernizing the sector in Armenia,” – noted Frank Hess, Head of Cooperation Section of the European Union Delegation to Armenia.

During the day, the 8 participating teams presented their revised projects and the best 3 were selected.

The competition will help create social impact, promote sustainable and green development of Armenia’s economy.

The event was held in the framework of the “EU Green Agriculture Initiative in Armenia” (EU-GAIA) project, which is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation.

The competition is implemented by the National Agrarian University of Armenia, the International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education (ICARE) Foundation and the Nation in Action NGO.
