European Solidarity Corps: long-term volunteering in kindergarten in Potsdam, Germany | Apply by September 30

The European Solidarity Corps is looking for a volunteer to join a team at the ‘Wasserläufer’ kindergarten in Potsdam, Germany, from 6 January to 12 November 2027.

The call is open to young people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.

The volunteer will get familiar with the ‘on the move and health oriented’ educational method by supporting pedagogues in their daily activities. The volunteer will help the pedagogues with on the move exercises, will communicate with children and lead them to a more health-conscious lifestyle. Furthermore, the volunteer will have the opportunity to organise his/her own cultural or linguistic projects.

The volunteer will live in one of the project’s four accommodations for ESC volunteers in Potsdam. Each volunteer has his/her own room. All necessary living arrangements for the whole duration of the project are taken care of.

A monthly travel card to use public transport within Germany (Deutschlandticket) will be made available to the volunteer. The volunteer will also receive a bike.

Organisers also provide a food allowance of €345 per month and a pocket money allowance of €217 per month. They also offer volunteers the possibility to take part in language courses, reimbursed up to €250, according to their current level of German.

The deadline for applications is 30 September.
