Funding, mentorship, and peer learning to help scale your democratic innovations – open to Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine
ScaleDem, an EU-funded initiative, committed to scaling the most effective solutions for improving democratic processes and making them more inclusive, has launched two calls for applications.
Eligible organisations across Europe and beyond, including from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, can apply for funding, mentorship, and peer learning to help scale democratic innovations.
Local authorities, civil society organisations, NGOs, research teams, cooperatives and mission-driven companies are eligible to apply.
The Piloting Programme supports teams testing bold new ideas (up to €100,000) to scale democratic innovations.
The Twinning Programme helps mentor-mentee communities adapt proven scaling approaches (up to €65,500 per community) in new contexts.
Before applying, ScaleDem recommends completing its short Decision Helper / Declaration of Interest (optional; deadline: 31 January 2026) to check eligibility and check which programme fits best to your project (EUSurvey – Survey).
ScaleDem will also host two online info sessions during the application period. Registration is required via the website.
The deadline for applications is 31 March.
