EU Delegation and Member States host pre-deaparture orientation for Armenian Erasmus Mundus scholars

Last week the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, in collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Office and EU Member States’ embassies, gathered this year’s selected Armenian Erasmus Mundus students for a pre-departure orientation meeting.
The gathering offered practical guidance, networking opportunities, and words of encouragement as the scholars prepare to embark on their Joint Master’s degree programmes across Europe.
Frank Hess, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Armenia, congratulated the awardees and urged them to make the most of this transformative academic journey. In his address, he highlighted the broader value of the programme:
“Beyond academic success, this is an opportunity to develop vital intercultural competences, build global professional networks, and sharpen leadership skills. We encourage our scholars to bring these rich experiences back to actively shape and contribute to Armenia’s future.”

The event underscored the EU’s continued commitment to supporting higher education, youth mobility, and human capital development in Armenia.
