Armenia’s energy future with the EU support
Solar energy and energy efficiency technologies introduced through EU-funded actions are helping Armenia and its communities become more self-reliant, resilient, and eco-friendly. Targeting the Lori, Tavush, Shirak, Gegharkunik and Syunik marzes, the programme has successfully renovated 15 kindergartens—including deep energy efficiency upgrades and seismic safety improvements—carried out energy efficiency enhancements in 47 public buildings, and much more. Such energy efficiency solutions allow schools, health centers, and community facilities to operate more reliably, cost-effectively, and safely.
