Armenian innovation heads to Paris: Three tech startups set for VivaTech 2026

Three pioneering Armenian startups are packing their bags for Paris after winning the national “Gateway to VivaTech 2026” pitch competition on April 16. Denovo Sciences, TACTUN, and MedPair have been selected to represent the country at VivaTech 2026, one of Europe’s largest tech and innovation events, celebrating its 10th anniversary this June.
The national selection process, organised by the EU4Innovation East project in collaboration with local ecosystem partners, saw 13 competitive Armenian startups pitch across multiple sectors. The final trio secured their spots to showcase Armenia’s growing reputation as a deep-tech and digital health hub on the European stage.
The selected startups represent a diverse cross-section of advanced technology, ranging from artificial intelligence in medicine to smart manufacturing:
Denovo Sciences: A deep-tech company revolutionising medicine by using proprietary AI algorithms and reinforcement learning to design novel small-molecule drug candidates․
TACTUN: An industrial tech innovator that has built an AI-ready, full-stack, no-code controller and application builder, allowing machinery manufacturers to automate and digitize complex hardware operations without standard software engineering resources.
MedPair: A French-Armenian digital health startup focusing on building a “digital front door” to optimize and streamline European healthcare access.
Armenia’s participation extends beyond individual booths. At VivaTech 2026, EU4Innovation East will host a dedicated regional pitch session. This special event will feature a total of nine startups selected from Armenia, Ukraine, and Moldova, aimed at amplifying the collective visibility of Eastern Partnership tech ecosystems before international investors, corporations, and global policymakers.
VivaTech 2026 is scheduled to take place this coming June in Paris, drawing tens of thousands of attendees looking to discover the next generation of global scaling technologies.
