YAC to host nature-themed forum at COP17 in Yerevan
On 28 October at 17:45 at the Green Zone, Upper Stage, COP17 for the EU Youth and Sustainability Forum will take place, organised in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Armenia, EUNIC Armenia, and the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) to the EU Delegation to Armenia.
The forum will explore the importance of biodiversity conservation, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development for younger generations, as well as how young people can contribute to meaningful environmental action.
Hosted in a Fishbowl format, the session offers an interactive space for speakers and participants to exchange ideas and perspectives. The circular seating setup is intentional. A circle emphasises equal participation for all.
Don’t miss the opportunity. Step into the circle and help make the discussion more youthful, unscripted, direct, and meaningful.
YAC is a crew of 25 young leaders from Yerevan and every region across Armenia, ensuring diverse voices from all over the country are front and center. This council acts as the ultimate link between Armenian youth and the EU Delegation, while staying in constant loop with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
