EU4Innovation East: funding opportunity for Armenia’s innovation ecosystem | Apply by December 1

EU4Innovation East has launched a call to select an organisation to establish and manage a matching grant mechanism for innovative start-ups in Armenia.

The selected beneficiary will provide financial support to start-ups through grants, complemented by a separate investment component mobilised by the beneficiary or other investors. The action seeks to improve start-ups’ access to finance, support their growth and investment readiness, and strengthen Armenia’s innovation ecosystem.

Under this call, up to one grant may be awarded. The indicative envelope is €720,000.

To be eligible for the grant, the lead applicant must meet to be a legal entity duly established and registered in Armenia and be an investor, investment fund, investment vehicle, or other legally established structure through which multiple investors jointly undertake investment activities.

The deadline for application by 1 December 2026.

EU4Innovation East is a regional project enhancing the competitiveness of the star-up ecosystems in five Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
