The European Union Delegation to Armenia recently hosted its first-ever EU Alumni Flagship Event, bringing together the bright minds, changemakers, and future leaders who have benefited from EU-supported educational opportunities abroad. More than just a reunion, the forum served as an energetic platform for young professionals to share their global insights, debate the future of education, and design new ways to accelerate Armenia’s national development.
Opening the landmark event, the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, delivered an inspiring welcome message to the gathered alumni. He emphasised that the EU remains deeply committed to empowering Armenian youth, fostering meaningful international cooperation, and building bridges through education. The Ambassador praised the returnees for their ambition and highlighted the strategic importance of this thriving alumni community in bringing the EU and Armenia even closer together.
