QA4VET project showcases progress in strengthening quality assurance in Armenian VET

17/07/2026

The dissemination event of the Erasmus+ QA4VET project, held in Yerevan on 13 July, brought together key stakeholders to present the project’s main achievements and discuss its contribution to strengthening quality assurance in Armenia’s vocational education and training (VET) system.

The event highlighted the results of piloting the Mock Accreditation Manual, developed as part of the project to support quality assurance processes in VET institutions. Participants, including representatives of VET institutions, quality assurance bodies, and public authorities, reviewed the outcomes of the pilot implementation, exchanged experiences, and reflected on lessons learned throughout the process.

Discussions focused on identifying methodological and institutional challenges encountered during the piloting phase, while participants also provided recommendations for improving the Manual before its finalisation. “The valuable feedback collected during the event will be incorporated into the final version of the Mock Accreditation Manual prior to its official adoption,” is mentioned on project Facebook post.

The Erasmus+ “Implementing Mock Accreditation for Supporting Quality Assurance in Armenian VET Institutions” (QA4VET) project aims to strengthen the quality of vocational education and training in Armenia by developing and implementing mock accreditation procedures and tools. These initiatives are designed to enhance quality assurance practices within VET institutions, promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, and support the long-term development of the national VET system.
