Culture Moves Europe: new call for individual mobility 2026-2027 open | Apply by April 30, 2027

02/10/2026

Artists and cultural professionals in Creative Europe countries can apply until 30 April 2027 for a new call under Culture Moves Europe, the European Union’s flagship mobility scheme for the cultural and creative sectors.

With a budget of €25 million, Culture Moves Europe supports around 7,000 artists, cultural professionals and host organisations between 2025 and 2028. The mobility action is funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.

Culture Moves Europe helps participants to develop international projects and partnerships, access new professional opportunities, strengthen skills through learning and exchange, increase the visibility of their work internationally, and connect with diverse communities, peers and organisations.

The call for individual mobility is open to both artists and cultural professionals aged 18 or older from Creative Europe participating countries, which include Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Professionals active in the fields of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts can apply for the call.

The call for individual mobility allows applications from individuals and groups of up to 5 people.

The programme encourages applications from both emerging and established professionals, including those seeking to internationalise their practice, explore new collaborations or reach new audiences across Europe and beyond.

The grant offers a daily allowance of €85 per day of project implementation, travel allowance, and additional funding (green mobility top-up – €400; family top-up – €200 per child under 18 years old; visa top-up – €120).

The Culture Moves Europe calls operate on a rolling basis, with evaluation periods at the end of every month during the application period, which ends on 30 April 2027, 23.59 CET.
