{"id":60719,"date":"2026-07-13T08:47:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T08:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu4armenia.eu\/?p=60719"},"modified":"2026-07-14T09:47:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T09:47:05","slug":"eu-foreign-affairs-council-to-discuss-support-to-ukraine-and-new-partnership-mission-for-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu4armenia.eu\/hy\/eu-foreign-affairs-council-to-discuss-support-to-ukraine-and-new-partnership-mission-for-armenia\/","title":{"rendered":"EU Foreign Affairs Council to discuss support to Ukraine and new Partnership Mission for Armenia\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Foreign Affairs Council, taking place today in Brussels and chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, will discuss Russia\u2019s war of aggression against Ukraine, after an informal exchange of views in the presence of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arrival, Kallas told reporters that the Council would start with Ukrainian civilians detained in the occupied territories: <em>\u201cThese are teachers, these are journalists. We have the NGOs here from Ukraine who are dealing with this, and we are also discussing what more we can do.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding EU sanctions against Russia, Kallas said the Council could agree on 250 new listings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWe are also working for the 21<\/em><em><sup>st<\/sup><\/em><em> sanctions package, where we do not have agreement yet,\u201d <\/em>Kallas said. <em>\u201cThis is the biggest number of listings we have done so far.
