Humanitarian needs are\u202fat an all-time high in 2026\u202fwith 239 million people in need of assistance. Disastrous humanitarian situations coupled with severe funding cuts mean re-prioritising how aid is delivered,\u201d <\/em>the European Commission said in a press release, presenting the new approach.<\/p>\n The new approach on humanitarian aid sets out concrete solutions to\u202fensure\u202fhumanitarian\u202faid reaches\u202fpeople in need\u202facross\u202fthe globe.
