With EU support, the \u2018Armenian Progressive Youth\u2019 NGO in mid-May organised a human rights youth camp in Agvaran (Armenia) for displaced and local young people.<\/p>\n
The camp was organised as part of the EU-funded programme \u2018Human Rights with and for Refugees\u2019. The initiative aims to support and empower refugees in Nagorno-Karabakh by increasing their knowledge and awareness of their rights, and ensuring they have access to information about services and opportunities.<\/p>\n
During the camp, participants discussed topics related to human rights and civic engagement, and acquired new skills and tools that they can subsequently apply to the development of their communities.<\/p>\n
In addition, the young people had the opportunity to meet with experts, law enforcement agencies and other young people. As a result of this collaboration, they developed their ideas, turning them into concrete community initiatives.<\/p>\n
